Computerized SearchesMEDLINE/CINAHL searches are free to all Baptist Health South Florida medical and hospital staff members, on clinically related topics. The search service is available to students and the community on a fee-for-service.
Photocopy
Photocopies of articles are $.10 per page for anyone who is not an employee of Baptist Health.
Interlibrary Loans
Journal reprints are free to all Baptist Health medical and hospital staff members, if it is job related. Charges imposed by other libraries will be passed back to the individual requester or department, if it is a school project or personal project.
Check-out Procedure
Books, journals, videos, and audiocassettes may be borrowed for two weeks by Baptist Health medical and hospital staff members. Borrowers are requested to return materials on time; however, no fines will be charged.
Acquisitions & Gifts
Staff members are encouraged to recommend current new titles for the library. The Library Committee reviews the request for purchase. Gifts are accepted selectively, due to space limitations and JCAHO requirements for a current collection.
