Overview & Instructions
Internet Point-of-Care (PoC) Learning is a method of structured, self-directed, online physician learning focusing on topics relevant to current clinical practice. Baptist Health’s Continuing Medical Education (CME) Department values real-time learning and recognizes its impact on improving the delivery of patient care.

Upon completion of a Internet PoC Learning activity, the participant will have searched valid evidence-based online sources for practice recommendations and will have applied, or may plan to apply, the appropriate recommendations to patient care. The Internet PoC Learning activity includes a reflective process in which physicians document their clinical question, the sources consulted and the application to practice. The target audience includes physicians and other healthcare providers who participate in practice-based, self-directed, online learning in support of specific patient care.

In order to claim CME credit, please complete the Internet PoC Learning application. Allow five to seven business days for the review and validation, after which a certificate for one-half (0.5) AMA PRA Category 1™ credit will be e-mailed to you. If you have any questions, please contact the CME Department at 786-596-2398 or cme@baptisthealth.net.
