The mission of Baptist Health South Florida's Continuing Medical Education Program is to provide continuing education to doctors and allied healthcare professionals that will improve competence and/or performance in order to improve patient care and treatment outcomes. Organized educational activities focus on both existing and new diagnostic and therapeutic modalities as well as disease prevention.
Baptist Health provides continuing education opportunities to doctors on staff at all our affiliated hospitals and welcomes attendees from the local, regional and national medical communities. Additionally, most of our conferences are approved for continuing education credit for nurses and other healthcare professionals.
The Baptist Health Continuing Medical Education Program was awarded Accreditation with Commendation for Exemplary Compliance by the ACCME (2003-2009).
