A ribbon-cutting ceremony signaled the start of health screenings at the 
community celebration of the 10th anniversary of Mariners Hospital’s move to 91500 Overseas Highway, Tavernier.

More than 300 people attended the celebration, with 135 receiving free health screenings for glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure and osteoporosis.
During his opening comments, Mr. Lazo welcomed the community as the hospital celebrated the many accomplishments of the past decade. He also thanked them for coming to the anniversary party and helping Mainers “usher in the next decade of excellent community service as we work to ensure that Mariners remains the exceptional hospital in our neighborhood.”
