More Than 4,500 Attend Women's Health Day

Women of all ages spent the day getting information on looking, feeling and performing their best at the 18th annual Women's Health Day at Baptist Hospital.

More than 4,500 women attended the event to take advantage of a wide range of free health screenings for cholesterol, skin cancer, diabetes, blood pressure, foot problems and osteoporosis, along with mini-lectures, fitness demonstrations, mini-consultations and exhibits.

Dermatologist Khari Bridges, M.D., checks Julia Sierra for skin cancer at Women's Health Day at Baptist Hospital. Dr. Bridges was one of many physicians who volunteered to do free screenings at the event. 




Podiatrist Liana Seldin, DPM, performs a foot screening on Mercedes Tejeda. More than 3,100 health screenings were provided free to the community. 




Leg circulation screenings for people at risk for vascular disease were performed.
