Baptist Rehabilitation Center provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services for adults and children. Baptist Health’s overall commitment to excellence has extended to this specialized field since 1976, when it began the first private inpatient rehabilitation program in Miami-Dade County.
Baptist Hospital is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) in the following programs: inpatient rehabilitation; inpatient and outpatient brain injury; outpatient rehabilitation; and inpatient and outpatient stroke programs. The commission is a private, not-for-profit organization that currently accredits more than 35,000 rehabilitation facilities in Canada, the United States and Europe. Our goal is to return patients to their highest level of independence, and to integrate them back to the community following their injury.
