Pregnancy is a time filled with uncertainty and wonder for expectant parents. Whether it’s your first time or your third, you may have questions about what to expect.
That’s why South Miami Hospital offers expectant parents a free program to help prepare them for the birth of their baby. Great Expectations goes beyond normal childbirth classes to provide parents-to-be with practical information about pregnancy, preparing for baby’s arrival and caring for newborns.
Great Expectations members have access to:
A Great Expectation counselor – a registered nurse who is available by phone to answer questions during pregnancy and once the baby goes home from the hospital.
Monthly get-togethers at the hospital, where experts discuss topics related to pregnancy, childbirth and baby care.
Discounts from local merchants and the chance to win prizes during monthly gatherings.
Newsletters covering different stages of pregnancy e-mailed to members to coincide with where they are in their pregnancy.
