Baptist Health's occupational health care program offers a comprehensive range of services to employers and others seeking top-quality and cost-effective worker injury care and rehabilitation. Our primary goal is returning the injured employee to the work force as quickly as possible. At the same time, we can assure controlled, effective case coordination between employer, patient and insurance carrier -- a management approach that prevents unnecessary lost work time or additional medical care.
The staff includes physicians who are specially trained in occupational and emergency medicine, occupational and physical therapists, registered nurses and certified X-ray technicians. Services include walk-in emergency care, X-rays, laboratory services, pulmonary testing, audiometry, employment physicals, drug and alcohol testing, immunizations, physical and occupational therapy, functional capacity evaluation, work hardening and job site analysis.
Baptist Health has seven convenient occupational health treatment sites throughout Miami-Dade County.
