Cardiovascular Services: Personalized Education and Rehab Services

 Personalized Education and Rehab Services

Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute's staff is committed to providing information and support that help people manage existing conditions, as well as prevent cardiovascular disease by adopting healthier lifestyles.

Specially trained nurses, dietitians and exercise specialists in our Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center offer personalized exercise and nutrition regimens for people who have cardiovascular disease. Monitored exercise programs include low impact aerobics and the use of various types of exercise equipment such as treadmills and stationary bikes. The staff also offers comprehensive risk factor modification and stress management.

The Institute also has support groups for people with cardiovascular disease and their families. Since most heart and circulatory disease can be prevented by adopting healthy diet and exercise habits, the Institute offers many educational programs and health screenings to the community.
