Our cancer resource nurse is here to answer any questions you may have regarding cancer-related services and programs offered at Baptist and South Miami Hospitals. She can provide you with information on the following:

  • Referral to a cancer specialist
  • Diagnostic and treatment services
  • Research trials
  • Rehabilitation and reconstruction
  • Children's cancer services
  • Genetic risk education
  • Supportive services:
    Behavioral medicine
    Complementary therapies
    Social work services
    Nutrition counseling
    Educational programs and support groups

The Baptist-South Miami Regional Cancer Program offers comprehensive cancer services at Baptist, Baptist Children's and South Miami Hospitals. The Cancer Resource Service is staffed by a registered nurse.
