It also offers exercise specialists; eating disorder counseling; expertise in external insulin pump therapy; a Foot Care Clinic; and Board-certified physicians and medical specialists to assist with related problems involving the eyes, kidneys and heart. For chronic or non-healing wounds related to diabetes, the Wound Center at South Miami Hospital offers up-to-date treatments by physicians and nurses who are experts in wound care.
