Our team includes nationally and internationally known orthopedic surgeons equipped with advanced technology and a comprehensive rehabilitation program. In 2007, Baptist Hospital was designated as a UnitedHealth Premium Total Joint Replacement Specialty Center in quality patient care and cost efficiency. Our surgeons have published numerous articles about new techniques they have developed to repair knee, shoulder, hip, ankle and elbow injuries.

Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Rehabilitation
This program offers rehabilitation services for a wide range of orthopedic injuries, neck and low back disorders and joint replacements, as well as treatment of athletes of all levels, from the weekend warrior to the professional athlete. Baptist Hospital total joint program offers pre-operative education classes in English and Spanish conducted by a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. These classes will answer questions about your upcoming surgery and prepare you for discharge. 

Patient care and therapies are provided by a team of registered nurses, certified assistants, social workers/care managers, licensed physical and occupational therapist in a state-of-the-art facility.

The rehabilitation professionals have developed extensive expertise through post professional education/training and specialized certifications. Their goal is to create a specific treatment plan for each one of the patients that helps him or her return to maximum function.
