 Neuroscience Center at Baptist Hospital

The Neuroscience Center at Baptist Hospital recently opened a new center on the second floor of the Victor E. Clarke Pavilion. The new Center provides the most comprehensive and innovative techniques to diagnose and treat the brain, spine and nervous system. The Center’s staff includes neurosurgeons and other specialists acclaimed for clinical and educational expertise, as well as specialty-trained nurses and clinical professionals.

The move to the new Center increases the bed capacity of the Neuroscience Center from 37 to 48 private beds. The new Center location also helps improve patient throughput from the Emergency Department, Critical Care and Surgery by increasing the six neuro progressive Care (NPC) beds to 12. The proximity to the Emergency Department also allows quicker response and assessment by the Baptist Emergency Stroke Team to those patients arriving in the Emergency Department with stroke symptoms.

The Neuroscience Center offers:

  • Comprehensive surgical and non-surgical treatments for all spinal disorders and injuries.
  • First-class facilities
Florida's first accredited rehabilitation program for children with neurological disorders.
  • A leading sleep disorders center.
  • World-class physicians
Neurologists, neurosurgeons and neuroradiologists widely acclaimed for clinical, research and educational leadership.
