At Baptist Hospital, we provide multidisciplinary care that includes medical oncology, surgical oncology and radiation oncology as well as a full range of diagnostic and support services. In addition to our comprehensive services, we provide access to cutting-edge clinical research trials.
Services
Imaging services include X-ray, mammography, endoscopy, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound and fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET), PET/CT and single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT).
Surgery is performed in our state-of-the-art operating rooms and includes minimally-invasive and minimally-invasive robot-assisted surgery.
Radiation therapy includes conformal radiation therapy, four-dimensional radiation therapy, intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), brachytherapy and stereotactic body radiosurgery (SBRT). Multidisciplinary head and neck cancer support team.
Chemotherapy, hormone therapy and molecularly targeted therapy. Inpatient and outpatient.
Clinical research trials
Interventional radiology. At Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute, located on the Baptist Hospital campus, interventional radiologists perform minimally–invasive image-guided procedures that include radiofrequency ablation, cryoablation, microwave ablation, as well as transcatheter arterial chemoembolization, transarterial bland embolization and in conjunction with our radiation oncologists, radioembolization.
Patients have access to mind-body programs, pain management, palliative care services, rehabilitation services, lymphedema therapy, Genetic Risk Education Service, specially-trained oncology nurses, social workers, dietitians, technologists, chaplains, as well as educational programs and support groups.
