Acute and In-Patient Pain Management
Medication Management: Different types of medication are used to control pain depending on what is causing the pain.
Anti-inflammatory Medications: These help to decrease the swelling and inflammation. They also promote healing.
Muscle Relaxants: These help the muscles to relax and also decrease muscle tension and spasm.
Analgesic Medications: These are used exclusively for acute pain.
Opioid/Narcotic Medication: exclusively for chronic intractable pain.
