Thank you for visiting the website of Mariners Hospital, one of six hospitals affiliated with Baptist Health South Florida, the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in South Florida.
Mariners has been part of the Upper Keys community since 1959, when it opened its doors as a nine-bed physicians’ clinic. Today, Mariners is a 42-bed, community hospital with more than 60 staff physicians whose specialties include internal and family medicine, dermatology, pediatrics, gynecology, cardiology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, general surgery, neurology, pulmonology and urology.
Within the hospital, we have a medical-surgical unit, an intensive care unit, and outpatient surgery, as well as hyperbaric medicine, wound recovery and outpatient diagnostic testing. The 24-hour Emergency Center has seven treatment rooms, plus a trauma room that can treat two patients at once and an orthopedic trauma room for casting broken bones and preparing patients for surgery.
The Tassell Medical Arts Building, located on the hospital campus, houses physicians’ offices, the Mariners Wellness Center, the Diabetes Care Center, cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, outpatient diagnostic services, laboratory, and a physical therapy center with a therapy pool.

Resources for Hospital Data Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) makes available data on hospital prices and performance on their Internet website at http://www.floridahealthstat.com. The data on hospital prices and performance are based on a compilation of charges for the average patient. A patient's bill may vary from the average shown, depending upon the severity of illness and individual care needs.
Baptist Health is committed to quality healthcare and patient safety, participating in a variety of state and national initiatives.
