Focus on Healing
Regain strength, range of motion and improve flexibility through this unique dance and movement program designed for people who have physical limitations from an illness or surgery. No dance experience is necessary. Wednesdays, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., Victor E. Clarke Education Center, South Miami Hospital. Cost is $5 per class. Celebrate the Art of Survival: Cancer Survivors Day
May 18: Cancer survivors and their loved ones can experience the delight of expression through the creative arts at the Baptist-South Miami Regional Cancer Program’s free Cancer Survivors Day celebration, at South Miami Hospital's Clarke Education Center, U.S. 1 and SW 62 Avenue. The program is part of a national celebration of Cancer Survivors Day. A light lunch will be served. The event is free, but reservations are required.
