■ Baptist Hospital ranked 14th on the list of the Top 50 Hospitals as compiled by Consumers’ Checkbook, a nonprofit consumer information and service resource. Baptist also was named among the Top 10 Hospitals for pulmonary care and infectious disease care in the list that appeared in May/June 2002 Modern Maturity. The Consumers’ Checkbook study also ranked Baptist Hospital second of 57 South Florida hospitals in the physician survey category and eighth of 57 for adjusted death rate.
■ Baptist Health received the 2001 Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award from the Dade County Psychological Association.
