Road to Recovery
Road to Recovery – a networking support group for people with heart disease and their families – will resume meeting in September at Cardiac Rehabilitation, 2nd Floor, Baptist Hospital, 8900 North Kendall Drive. Straight talk about coping with heart disease is led by patients and their family members. For information on future meeting dates, please call 786-596-6564.

Smoking Cessation Support Group
A support group for ex-smokers that have completed the Elusive Addiction Smoking Cessation Program. It usually meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at South Miami Hospital on U.S. 1 and Southwest 62 Ave, in the Pulmonary Rehab Center in the Main Building, Third Floor, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. This support group is for ex-smokers who need additional support to stay smoke-free. Young Hearts Club
An informal support group for cardiac patients, their families and friends. Victor E. Clarke Center for Health Education, room varies, South Miami Hospital; 7-8:30 p.m. on the 1st Wednesday of the month. (Special Note: From Aug. 2 to Dec. 6, 2006 this group will be meeting at 6250 SW 73 Street, Cardiac Rehab Department.)
