Special Event

Celebrate the Art of Survival: Cancer Survivors Day
  May 18:

1-3 p.m.
South Miami Hospital
Victor E. Clarke Education Center
U.S. 1 and SW 62 Avenue

Cancer survivors and their loved ones can experience the delight of expression through the creative arts at the Baptist-South Miami Regional Cancer Program’s free Cancer Survivors Day celebration, at South Miami Hospital's Clarke Education Center, U.S. 1 and SW 62 Avenue. Therapists from the South Miami Hospital Behavioral and Collaborative Medicine Program will provide interactive demonstrations to help participants discover the power of creativity through art, dance and the written word. Participants are encouraged to bring an example of their own expressive art to share.

The program is part of a national celebration of Cancer Survivors Day. A light lunch will be served.

The event is free, but reservations are required.  For information and reservations, call 786-596-2871.
