Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute Clinical Research Trials
Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute’s medical staff has conducted clinical research since it was established at Baptist Hospital in 1987. Institute physicians have pioneered procedures, including stent-grafts for aortic aneurysms and carotid stents that are less invasive than traditional treatments.

Currently, the Institute is actively involved in more than 50 federally-approved clinical trials to find better ways of diagnosing and treating cardiovascular disease with new devices and drugs.
